Day 6 moves toward the Statue of Unity, while Day 7 continues to Indore. The Statue of Unity is a large, timed visitor complex rather than a quick roadside photo stop, so ticket category, walking and closing-day checks matter. The following transfer to Indore makes this the most road-intensive middle section of the journey.
Days 8–10: Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Maheshwar and Indore
Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar is the main focus on Day 8, with Kal Bhairav and Harsiddhi usually adding more local movement. Day 9 pairs Omkareshwar with Maheshwar. Choose the 10-day circuit if the four Jyotirlingas are a genuine priority and your group can handle long road transfers, regular hotel changes and early starts. It particularly suits travelers who prefer one coordinated journey over arranging two separate Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh trips.
Choose the shorter Somnath–Dwarka route if coastal darshan is the core goal, leave is limited or prolonged sitting worsens back, knee or circulation problems. A longer itinerary is not automatically a deeper pilgrimage; the better trip is the one that leaves enough physical and mental space for darshan.
