Health & Altitude Tips
Start fitness 4 weeks before
Daily 30-minute walks on inclines. Kedarnath trek is 16 km one-way — prepare your legs.
Diamox for altitude sickness
Consult your doctor before departure. Carry personal medications + basic first-aid kit.
Temperature drops to 5°C at night
Even in June it's cold at Kedarnath (3,583 m). Pack warm layers for all 13 days.
Stay hydrated at altitude
Drink 3–4 litres of water daily. Avoid alcohol and heavy meals at high altitude stops.
⚠️ Seniors & those with heart / lung conditions must get a medical fitness certificate before the trek.

Fly to Dehradun, transfer to Haridwar. Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Haridwar → Barkot
Drive via Mussoorie (8–9 hrs). En route visit Kempty Falls. Check in at Barkot — Yamunotri base.

Yamunotri Darshan
Drive to Janki Chatti, trek 6 km (or pony/palanquin) to Yamunotri Temple. Surya Kund hot spring. Return to Barkot.

Barkot → Uttarkashi
Drive to Uttarkashi (6 hrs). Evening darshan at Vishwanath Temple on the Bhagirathi.

Gangotri Darshan
Drive to Gangotri (100 km). Darshan at Gangotri Temple — origin of the holy Ganga. Return to Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi → Sitapur
Drive to Sitapur/Guptkashi (8 hrs) — Kedarnath base. En route Ardh Narishwar Temple at Guptkashi.

Kedarnath Ascent
Drive to Gaurikund, then 16 km trek (or pony/helicopter) to Kedarnath — 12th Jyotirlinga. Evening darshan. Overnight at camp.

Kedarnath → Sitapur
Early morning VIP darshan at Kedarnath. Descend to Gaurikund and return to Sitapur/Guptkashi.

Sitapur → Badrinath
Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath (5–6 hrs). En route Narsingh Temple at Joshimath.

Badrinath Darshan
Morning Abhishek and darshan at Badrinath Temple. Visit Mana Village, Bhim Pul, Vasudhara Falls, and Tapt Kund.

Badrinath → Haridwar
Drive to Haridwar via Rudraprayag and Devprayag — sacred river confluences.

Haridwar / Rishikesh
Visit Rishikesh — Ram Jhula, Lakshman Jhula, Triveni Ghat. Evening Ganga Aarti. Transfer to Dehradun Airport.

Arrive Home
Fly back to your boarding city (Bengaluru / Chennai / Hyderabad / Kochi). Return flight included in package. Yatra complete with blessings of all four Char Dhams.
